What is a Legacy?
Webster's dictionary defines Legacy as "something transmitted by or received by an ancestor". The Catamount family has been developed and shaped through history as a group of hard working, dedicated people on a mission. That mission continues today with one of the winningest teams in the state. Throughout its history the Catamount family has supported the efforts of the school and its athletes by providing the best facilities available to them. Today the Dalton High School family feels the same way.

Work continues on the new Multi-Purpose Athletic & Wellness Facility. Construction efforts have been hampered by weather recently, hopefully there will be better weather soon as all are eager to put this new facility to use!

Catamounts Adopt Family for Christmas |
|
Catamount players from the upcoming Senior Class adopted a needy family for Christmas this year. The players all met at Wal-Mart and purchased gifts for the family which they later delivered to them just in time for Christmas! It's great to see the caring and giving spirit of our young men this holiday season.

The Dalton High Catamount Football Banquet will be held Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 6:00pm in the Commons at the High School. Tickets are $10.00 per person and are available in the school office. Please make your plans now to attend. |
